The Barn KT9 is a truly unique place very special to me. It’s situated on a working farm in Chessington, where we will gather in a converted barn, and over two cosy hours, I’ll teach you how to make a unique and beautiful wreath to adorn your home with. Get settled in with a warm festive soft drink, a tasty treat sourced from a local baker and all the festive vibes.
You will start with a sustainable willow base grown and handmade by another flower farmer in England. Then add to it using a combination of foliages, seed heads, dried flowers, and decorations either grown by me, foraged locally or sourced from reputable UK suppliers. Feel free to bring any special decorations from home that you’d like to include too. Finish it off with a ribbon of choice from my collection. Go traditional with orange slices, cinnamon sticks and holly, or modern with dried grasses and flowers, the choice is yours!
All materials are sustainably and ethically sourced, and your wreaths will be compostable too - no plastics here!
Add in twinkling lights and tasteful Christmas tunes, and you’ll be in the Christmas spirit in no time.
Please note that places are very limited and are suitable for over 16’s only. This workshop is situated in an upstairs space so regrettably wheelchair access is not possible.
GETTING HERE: Entrance to The Barn KT9 by car is off Leatherhead Road (A243) (drive up the lane, press the button to open the gate, park anywhere in the car park and then follow signs to the workshop), or you can access by foot or bicycle over Epsom and Ashtead Common. Please arrive promptly.
